Truck Technician - Maidstone

A position exists for a skilled Truck Technician to work in our truck workshops in Maidstone. The job will entail the inspection, service and repair of all weights of commercial vehicles involving diagnostics and unit strip/rebuilds.

Applicants should have at least a clean full car driving licence and have the desire to further their knowledge and experience.

The position offers:
  • A graduated pay scheme rewarding efficiency and skill paying up to £40k pa (including average overtime).
  • A skill development training plan backed by bespoke manufacturer training courses.

Van Technician - Maidstone

A position exists for a skilled Van Technician to work in our van and truck workshops in Maidstone. The job will entail diagnostics, all types of repair, unit strip and rebuilds and servicing/routine maintenance on Fiat Professional and Iveco vans.

Apprentice HGV Technician - Maidstone

We have some exciting opportunities to earn while you learn, to become a fully qualified heavy vehicle technician.
With the support of the Iveco Apprentice Program, we will push the right applicant to become the very best technician possible.
This is a three-year apprenticeship and covers every aspect of diagnostic, repair and maintenance of the Iveco product.
The ideal applicant will have a driving licence and be willing to work hard to achieve their potential in this challenging but rewarding industry

The apprenticeship would involve a full three-year programme of training both “on the job” and away at Iveco’s (the manufacturer’s) training school. On completion of the course a successful apprentice would be able to diagnose, repair, service and maintain the full range of commercial vehicles from 3.5 tonne vans up to 44 tonne tractor units and trailers.

The apprenticeship takes the form of a continuing on the job training programme supported by six, one-week residential block release training courses at the manufacturer’s premises in Winsford, Cheshire.

The course focuses on technical diagnosis work incorporating the use of laptop computers as well as traditional mechanical work.
Throughout the apprenticeship you would be expected to work a 39-hour week for which you will be paid. Some overtime opportunities may exist.

Applicants must have passed their driving test and hold a clean car driving licence.

HGV C+E Driver/Fitter/Handyperson - Maidstone - £22,000

A position exists for a driver/fitter/handyperson to work in our truck and van workshops in Maidstone. The job is ideal for someone who is tired of spending nights away and is looking for local, varied work. The hours of work would be 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday as required. The work would generally be collection and delivery of vehicles to/from customers, taking vehicles for their annual DOT test, carrying out minor repairs, steam cleaning vehicles, cleaning/tidying the workshop and carrying out other tasks as requested.

Applicants should:
  • Have a willing “can do” attitude.
  • Have a full clean car driving licence in addition to their HGV C + E licence.
  • Have a valid Drivers CPC Card.
  • Be content to work on their own without the need for supervision.
  • Be flexible with their hours of work to meet customer needs.
